You and I are Synonymous was a collaborative studio exhibition that I co-curated wherby fourteen artists wrote a set of 10 instructions on how to create their own piece of work. These instructions were anonymously distributed amongst the artists and they subsequently followed them to produce the work held in this exhibition. The original instructions were displayed around the opening wall to the exhibition however they were not attributed to the artist, nor were the pieces of work. This was decided so as to leave open the question of authorship and the location of the art, whether it be in the idea, the process or the final outcome.
